Dimitrios Papadopoulos is a clinical embryologist and an expert in reproductive medicine.
He specializes in clinical embryology and deals with male and female fertility issues. He is also an expert in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD).
He was born in Russia and raised in a small town in northern Greece called Giannitsa.

Multi-Year Experience
Dimitris Papadopoulos has worked in IVF Centers both in Greece (Kosmogonia IVF, MITERA Maternity Hospital, Iakentro IVF Clinic) and in other Balkan countries like Romania and Bulgaria.
Due to his extensive experience, he has been called to participate in organizing, equipping and selecting the personnel of “Genesis Fertility” and “Assisting Nature” IVF centers in Thessaloniki.
Today, he is one of the founding members of the Rea Maternity Hospital and also in charge of the laboratory in the Fertility Department of the Hospital. As an embryologist in REA, he has dealt with numerous and diverse patient cases.

Laboratory Techniques
Dimitris Papadopoulos is responsible for carrying out a whole set of embryological and andrological laboratory techniques related to the manipulation of human gametes and embryos. This is how he handles IVF cycles, pre-implantation testing (PGD) and unique infertility issues as an embryologist of the REA Maternity Hospital.
